Smiling is contagious and the experts say that we should just do more of it! There have been numerous studies on the benefits of smiling and it has been shown to lower stress, boost immune health, improve mental health, and can make you more attractive and approachable to other people. All positive things, right? So, come on, can I get a smile?
We think about smiles each and every day and work hard to help you achieve that grin you’ve always wanted. Whether you need simple routine cleanings or teeth whitening, or require more restorative and cosmetic services, we strive to help you feel confident in your smile.
But, remember:
· brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day with fluoride toothpaste,
· limit sugary foods and drinks and always brush after enjoying them, and
· visit Dr. Linda Kay Nichols every six months for regular check-ups.
Oh, and don’t forget to floss daily! Doing all of these things will keep your mouth healthy and your smile beaming. It’s National Smile Month until June 13, so make a point to smile at someone today… it will give them something to smile about! You will be glad you did.
Until next time,
Dr. Linda Kay Nichols, D.M.D., P.A.
“Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” ~ Mother Teresa
